DANIEL COOPER
Daniel Cooper has over 25 years of experience as a litigator. As counsel to the firm, Daniel is known for providing strategic and practical advice to the firm’s clients. He harnesses thorny complex cases through his proactive resolution of problems and with his wealth of practical experience.
He advises clients on a wide range of legal matters including:
- divorce and custody and support;
- employment, wrongful dismissal, non-compete restrictions;
- criminal law;
- latent defects, and;
- condominium issues.
Daniel has extensive litigation experience before all levels of Court in Quebec, including the Court of Appeal, the Superior Court, the Court of Quebec and the Federal Court, in both French and English.
In addition to his litigation expertise, Daniel is a skilled negotiator who values collaborative dialogue. He believes that by combining advocacy, legal expertise and consensus building, that a problem-solving approach to lawyering can often be more effective than resorting to litigation.
